Looking back at our Thanksgiving...

This was our first time staying at our place for Thanksgiving without traveling to see family. That's right, it was just the two of us this year and we kind of liked it. We woke up early and had some hot gooey cinnamon rolls and turned on the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. Our plan for the day was to cook in our pajamas a thanksgiving feast for lunch while watching the famous parade and also dog show...oh and break out some Christmas decorations already! Later that night Jesse had to go to work for the beginning of black Friday shoppers.
We had all the usual thanksgiving comfort food and it was delicious. Our trick this year was to use a rotisserie chicken instead of a turkey for the two of us. We think we will learn how to make a perfect turkey for another year haha! Hope your holiday was great and now onto Christmas!

  3. It's sounds like it was wonderful. We too were just the two of us and it felt kind of strange but it was ok. We are looking forward to Christmas too...missing you of course but having our 1st Christmas, just the two of us since we got married! Your food looked delicious. I should of cooked but we thought it would be easy to catch a buffet...not unless we wanted to stand in line for who knows how long. It ended well we found a little Irish Place open and the food was great. I haven't put any Christmas decorations up yet. Our place seems squishy! I love your blog, always such beautiful pictures that so capture your creativity and love for each other and life:)
